Most people look at the bullet holes and say “Fix this.” That’s a mistake. You are only looking at the planes that survived. The ones hit in the engine never came back.
This is Survivorship Bias. We study the successful dropouts and ignore the thousands who failed. Stop taking advice only from the winners. Look at the graveyard.
