We all know a “Shafiq Sahab” who refuses to sell his broken car because he has spent too much time fixing it. This is called The IKEA Effect. It is a psychological bias where we overvalue things simply because we put effort into them.
We do the exact same thing in Toxic Relationships. We stay for years, thinking that our struggle to “fix” the person makes the relationship valuable.
But the harsh truth is: Effort does not equal Value. You aren’t building a future; you are just pushing a stalled car. Sometimes a khatara is just a khatara.
