We have all noticed it. The Cocomo packet feels lighter, the Chili Mili bag is half empty, and the Magnum bar has shrunk. But the price is still the same (or higher).

This is called Shrinkflation. Instead of raising the price directly, brands quietly reduce the quantity or weight of the product. They know you check the price tag, but you rarely check the Net Weight.

It is a “Stealth Tax” on your wallet. You are paying the same amount for less product. Don’t let them trick you. Always check the grammage.
